River Tubing Rentals
Relax and float your cares away with our tubing rentals on the beautiful Root River! Your self-guided adventure begins at our shop and drifts along the scenic South Branch for a peaceful 2.5 to 3-hour ride—shuttle service included. No reservation needed—tubes are available on a walk-in basis! Participants must be at least 6 years old, and the last tube launch is at 2 PM.
Kayak and Canoe Rentals
Choose your adventure along the beautiful South or North Branch of the Root River. Whether you’re seeking a relaxing 7-mile float or a longer 14-mile paddle, we have the perfect route for you—ideal for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. All kayak and canoe rentals require a reservation by calling our office at 507-467-3400. To Book your next adventure please call our office and leave a voicemail with your contact information, and we’ll return your call within 24 business hours. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid fees.
Rentals include kayak or canoe, paddle, life jacket, and shuttle service.
South Branch Route
A 2.5–3 hour float (7+ mile ) from Old Barn Resort to Riverview Campground near Lanesboro.
North Branch Route
A 4.5–5 hour, 14-mile paddle from Moen’s Ridge to Highway 16 near Whalen.
