ROOT  RIVER OUTFITTER UPDATES:     

Saturday, September 19, 2020:

We will be open today at 10am.  We will be running canoe and kayak routes for experienced, adult river paddlers.

No tubing routes running today.

Tubing:  Available only on weekends with weather permitting.

Canoes/Kayaks:  Available weekdays and weekends by reservation and with weather permitting.

Please be aware of Governor Walz’s mask mandate while visiting Root River Outfitters.

Must be 18 years old to rent equipment, or with a responsible adult.  We discourage young children on the river. Must have a minimum of 2 adults with any children under 12.

REMINDERS:

CANOES/KAYAKS:

1) If you are bringing any children under 90lbs please bring personal life jackets for them.  

2) All shuttles will leave at their designated time.  Please have vehicles at shop and ready to leave 15 minutes before scheduled route!

Tubing:  NO RESERVATIONS

 1) Tubes are on a first come basis.

2) There is no string provided to tie together (we do not recommend it).  Please plan accordingly.

3)  We discourage young children on the river. All children that do go out require a minimum of 2 adults with them and if under 90 lbs need a personal life jacket.

4)  We cannot meet the needs of split group rentals.  (Split groups are when some in your group rent from us and some have personal gear.)
