Outdoor recreational activities are open and we are ready to start our 2020 season.

At Root River Outfitters LLC, the safety and well- being of our Guests and Employees are our top priorities and we are looking forward to providing you with a season that meets those needs while giving you a great outdoor recreational experience.  Root River Outfitters, LLC is considered a personal contact business, remaining six feet apart is not always possible, however we will be utilizing guidelines allowing us to operate while also minimizing risk from Covid-19.  Please understand we are doing our best to meet your needs while implementing these guidelines. 

 Enjoy your time with us knowing services that we offer are for entertainment and enjoyment and you engage in them at your own risk.    The principal symptoms of Covid 19 are fever, cough, and shortness of breath, if you are experiencing any of these symptoms or are not feeling well in any way, please choose to postpone your visit with us until you are back to feeling your best. 

Please note the following changes and recommendations (this list is a starting point and subject to change without notice as we continue to adapt to guidelines).

1. (7/25/2020): Please refer to Governor Walz’s state mandate for mask guidelines and requirements while visiting our shop.  Mask requirement is dictated by this mandate.
2. We will not be able to keep personal items at shop, please plan accordingly.
3. Remember glass and styrofoam are not permitted on the river.   Plan your cooler needs in advance, we will not have extra coolers to help with this season.
4. We will not be providing rope for tieing tubes together (social distancing).
5. We encourage you to bring your own lifejackets, but we will always have ours available as needed.
6. Please keep groups to recommended family households.
7. While at our location please be aware of 6ft social distancing and contactless interactions by our guests and our staff.
8. You have a choice on tubing routes.  Short tubing route does not have a shuttle and you walk tubes back.  Long tubing route has a shared shuttle that you will be mixed with other households. The shuttle ride back to Lanesboro is under 10 minutes.
9. We reserve the right to refuse shuttle rides to any customers that are behaving in a manner that is belligerent, or uncooperative to any staff or other customers.
